Deborah is a successful single woman with three children; Anthony and Antoinette, who have both received their B.S., B.A. Degrees and her youngest son AnTwon who is attending college and wants to pursue a career in law. She is a native of Bremerton, Washington (60 miles west of Seattle). Deborah is a successful entrepreneur and graduated from college receiving her A.S., B.A. and M.A. from the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. She has also counseled individuals in Drug & Alcohol Abuse.
She was one of thirteen children raised by a single mother and assisted in the upbringing of her brothers and sisters. With these life style skills and accomplishments, she is determined to give back to society. Deborah chose to overcome all the obstacles life presented to her and has become an educator and an Inspirational Motivational Speaker.
Simply put, Deborah will blow people away towards success in life! Her stories of determination, hope and perseverance will motivate people to go after their dreams, and if they don't have a dream - learn how to have a dream. In their business and personal lives, they will learn how to continue striving towards excellence. Deborah doesn't just tell an inspiring story - she shows you, her audience, how to achieve goals using her formula.
Willis Papillion became another addition to our team in Sept. 2008 as a Volunteer Education Consultant, Student/Parent Academic, Career and Vocational Counselor. Willis holds a Master degree in Social Work and a Bachelor Degree in Sociology; he also received his Life Time California Community College Credentials in Teaching, Counselor and Chief Administrative Officer. He has enjoyed a dynamite federal career for 36 years which included 5 years at the San Francisco US Office of Education/H.E.W. as an Education Program Officer; 6 years as a Civilian Education Specialist for the SF Navy Recruiting District and 4 years as an EEO/Fair Housing Specialist for HUD. Willis served in the United States Army, during the Korean era; and in the United States Air Force, during the Vietnam era, he did not experience any battlefield action. Surviving Change is pleased to have Mr. Willis Papillion as a part of our education team.
